TRYING HARD BUT STILL NOT LOSING WEIGHT?

If you’ve been plodding away at trying to lose weight and seeing little to nothing in the way of results, you are not alone.

If you’re not losing weight it means you’re not in a calorie deficit.

The question is, why? If you’re trying so hard how can you still not be in a deficit?

BITES, LICKS AND TASTES

How often do you have a lick here, a bite there, a sip of this, a taste of that and not track it?

You look at your log at the end of the day and it says you’re in deficit (it just doesn’t include all of those little nibbles.)

Those licks, bites and tastes absolutely can be eating up your deficit.

WEEKEND OVEREATING

Maybe this is more like you: Mon-Fri afternoon you’re on point.

Come Friday night things get looser.

Weekend overeating is one of the main culprits behind stalled weight loss.

UNTRACKED DAYS

Look over whatever app you’re using to track your calories. How many missed days are there?

UNMANAGED CRAVINGS

This one overlaps with the other 4 substantially.

It’s often one of the things driving the licks, bites and tastes, weekend/night-time overeating and untracked days.

NIGHTTIME OVEREATING

You’re on target to hit your calories all day long then after dark go all in on the munchies.

The thing with all of these is that your effort is so high for such a large part of the time that your lack of results seems really puzzling.

Keep an eye on these smaller chunks of time if you are lacking in results.
